In the future there are no right angles!

Have you ever noticed that all representations of the future have no ninety degree angles? From EPCOT to Worlds Fair, ovals and acute angles dominate. Why is that? It’s because of Buckminster Fuller.

Douglas Barone

Doug Barone is a writer living in New York. He's studied literature and writing at The New School for Social Research and in Pulitzer Prize winner Philip Schultz' Writers Studio. At The New School he studied under Sharon Mesmer (The Virgin Formica, In Ordinary Time) Sidney Offit (Memoir of a Bookies Son) Joshua Gaylord (Hummingbirds) Robert Boyers (ed. Salmagundi) and Justice Rosenberg.

He is an undergraduate alumnus of St. Lawrence University and a graduate alumnus of Loyola University. In 2010, 2011 and 2012 he was selected to study with Rick Moody at the New York State Writer's Institute.

Somewhere along the way he began writing about himself in the third person. This is a habit he is trying to break.
